The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards are an annual art and writing competition in which aspiring artists/writers in grades 7-12 submit their creative works in any of 29 categories of art and writing, including digital art, sculpture, journalism, and photography. In 2019, students submitted almost 340,000 pieces of art and writing to the Scholastic Awards.
