With the intent of helping local environmental nonprofits and organizations accomplish their respective missions, my goal is to be able to provide 1 pro bono opportunity for every 1 paid photography/videography project I complete.

American Chestnut

Sculpture Documentary

In an effort to illuminate the restoration of the American Chestnut, environmental artist Susan Hoenig, in collaboration with Friends of Princeton Open Space, shows the creative process of building her rock sculpture of an American Chestnut leaf.

Carbon Inventory Study

Trish Shanley, a forest ethnobiologist from the Ridgeview Conservancy, and Professor Randye Rutberg, a climate scientist at Hunter University, collaborate with local volunteers to determine how much carbon the James Witherspoon Woods hold by measuring tree circumference.

The Watershed Institute

The Watershed Institute is a non-profit located in Pennington, NJ that is focused on protecting water through research, conservation, and advocacy. Their hiking trails, open during the pandemic, offer local residents an opportunity to explore invaluable preserved land.

American Chestnut Restoration

Friends of Princeton Open Space volunteers worked on creating mulch buffers around bare root tree saplings to allow the small plants to remain hydrated and safe from weeds/vines that tend to appear during the hot summer months.

Friends of Princeton Open Space is a non-profit located in Princeton, NJ dedicated to preserving open space and supporting sustainability efforts in and around Princeton. Their beautifully-maintained trails, open during the pandemic, in the Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve are open to Princeton residents.
